The Mana Fragment is basically a broken ExSphere, which draws the mana from the human victim forced to wear it to store it and then later use it for whatever the person who has it for. They're basically a person's life force made to power the mana in the user to use Techs, Magic, or power machines.

Unfortunately, I need the one that I use, and I can't use the one Colette's got either. Both are probably too strong for what I need them for anyway.

I cant't think of anything to use in it's place and the one I got back home took a lot of work and lying to get in the first place. They're not common at all. Feel free to share that information with Celestia if you need to talk to someone. I think I told her, but I don't remember.
