Huh?

[ He seems to look genuinely surprised, eyes widening ever or so slightly, leaning into Komaeda's touch rather comfortably. ]

I'm... fine. There were ruins, and a mountain. Piphron -- we think he's there.

He likely is. [Now is not the time to make out just because there's something hot about Hinata being tired and disheveled. Komaeda props himself up on his elbows as he trails his fingers down Hinata's neck to his chest.] We might have found the code.

[If that is the code.] What else did you find out?

Not.... much, honestly. We just saw the environment for the most part, really. I can show you, for the most part.

[ And he closes his eyes and opens his mind to reveal to him what the memories of not only the ride there, but the areas he saw. There wasn't much new information outside of "the teleporter sort of works" and stuff like that. ]

You were right about erecting a barrier, though. Thanks for telling me about that.

I just thought about how Shaarnath has endured for all this time on the surface. It should have been possible to achieve that on a smaller scale...

[In return he opens his mind to show Shaarnath. From the floating crystals. To the city streets. And naturally, the barrier. The teleporter sort of works at Piphron's place...well. That's good to know. He could assist in repairing it to strengthen the connection once a base camp is established.]

I've been looking further into it in my trips to Shaarnath. [He pauses and leans up, his hand flat on Hinata's chest.] Anyway.

I assume you remembered something out there. Your eyes have changed. [He slits his eyes and lays down partly on him.]

I did. Don't worry about it too much.

[ It's not a big deal, he practically says silently. ]

I didn't realize that, though.

[He still scans Hinata's face and whatever he finds in his eyes, he relaxes. Komaeda leans over him and finally kisses him like he's wanted to do for a while. The slow, lingering kiss lasts only a few minutes. They're both tired.]

I was just concerned about your feelings. [He sighs, resting partly on him. The familiar sound of Hinata breathing could lull him to sleep but there are other thoughts on his mind.] ...did you...consider my offer?

[He bites the inside of his cheek so it comes out sounding innocent and shy. But it should be obvious what he's asking about. Moving back in with him.]

I know.

[ Hinata keeps his calm as he wears a somewhat tired smile, relaxing a little bit. ]

I'll stay with you.

[eyeswideopen]

[One of Komaeda's rare, completely unguarded smiles graces his face. He reaches for Hinata's hand and laces their fingers together.] You can pick any day you want to move in! I had it renovated while I was at master's but, should be finished now.

[It should fill him with energy but instead. He has to fight a yawn as the last bit of tension drains away.] ...do you mind if I nap here with you?
